Recently, it was an honour and an important professional task for our company that we were entrusted with the reconstruction of the entire northern wing of Hilton Budapest, located in the Castle District (reconstruction of the guest rooms, corridors and common areas as ell as window replacement and interior façade insulation).
The reconstruction of the wing meant that the interior had to be dismantled to the concrete carcass, and the replacement of the metal frame windows on the façade, construction of the rooms – and the related bathrooms – by a master builder and their interior design with furniture.
The task – despite the very short deadline – included the reconstruction of the corridors and common areas in addition to the 136 rooms of the northern wing. During the full reconstruction of the wing, of course, we also performed the modernisation of the related electrical and electronic systems (fire alarm, intelligent presence detector, telephone, TV, etc.).
The hotel was able to operate uninterrupted during the reconstruction works too.
